How we charge

At Woolley, Beardsleys & Bosworth, clear communication extends to our fees. We understand navigating legal matters can be stressful, and uncertainty about costs shouldn’t add to that stress. That’s why we prioritise transparency from the very beginning. Below, you will see the fees and any other disbursements you may incur throughout the process.

All fee quotes and estimates will be subject to review, depending on the nature of the matter. Where a matter becomes more complicated or more work is required on our part, it may be necessary to adjust our fee estimate to account for our additional fees.

Administration of estates

The cost of administering an estate can vary depending on its complexity. Here at Woolley, Beardsleys & Bosworth, we understand the importance of transparent pricing and offering options that meet your needs.

While we don’t use a percentage as the sole determinant of our fees, we can provide a general range of 1% to 2% of the gross value of the estate to give you a starting point. Simpler estates with fewer assets, liabilities, and beneficiaries will likely incur fees on the lower end of the range. Conversely, more complex estates may require a higher fee. We consider the specific details of your case when providing a more precise estimate and will provide the option of an estimated cost based on our hourly rates, and this estimated fee proposal would also provide a fixed fee option for clients who prefer this.
